Compliance & Regulatory Standing

Last updated: 7 August 2026 · A plain-language summary for clients and prospective distributors of how Vemuri Financial Services's Backoffice platform is built and operated.

We designed and run this platform with the regulatory frameworks that govern Indian mutual fund distribution, insurance solicitation, and personal-data handling built in from the start — not bolted on afterwards. Below is what that means in practice, and where you can go to see the details for yourself.

1. Regulatory registrations

RegulatorStanding
SEBIMutual fund investments are subject to market risks — all scheme-related documents should be read carefully. This platform does not provide personalised investment advice; every recommendation flows through your distributor, who is accountable for it under their own AMFI/SEBI standing.

Current values for the fields above are set in Settings by Vemuri Financial Services and may be blank until entered — an empty row means the credential hasn't been configured on this platform yet, not that it doesn't exist.

2. What this platform is built to support

Content alignment

AMFI / SEBI / IRDAI / PFRDA

ARN disclosure, mutual-fund risk disclaimers, "insurance is the subject matter of solicitation" language, and NPS disclaimers appear wherever this platform generates client-facing documents.

Data protection

DPDP Act 2023 & IT Act SPDI Rules

A published Privacy Policy, consent captured at every point client data is collected, and a documented breach-response process.

Application security

Ongoing security review

HTTPS/HSTS everywhere, hashed passwords, role-based access control, CSRF/SQLi/XSS defenses, login rate-limiting, and a full audit trail of every action — reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Payments

PCI-DSS scope

Card and UPI payment data is handled entirely by our PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway (Razorpay) or a manual UPI reference — this platform's own servers never see a card number, CVV, or UPI PIN.

No Aadhaar collection

Aadhaar Act 2016

We do not collect or store Aadhaar numbers anywhere on this platform. The KYC tools here link out to authorised AMC/registrar portals for that purpose rather than collecting it themselves.

Tax

GST-aware, not a filing service

This platform helps a distributor track and organise their own commission/GST paperwork — it does not file returns on anyone's behalf. See the GST & Commission Invoicing module.

3. Where to verify this yourself

4. Being straightforward with you

This page is a plain-language summary, not a legal certification. We take the regulatory and data-protection obligations that apply to this platform seriously and structure the product around them, as described above — but this page itself doesn't substitute for reading the Privacy Policy, and it isn't a guarantee against every possible claim. If you have a specific compliance question — for your own onboarding, an audit, or anything else — email us at the address above and we'll answer it directly rather than leave you to infer it from a summary page.
